Overview

The ALVAN^® expanding reamer, thanks to the multi cutting edges, allow feed rates that are not attainable from a single bladed reamer.

·      Available with carbide, cermet, PCD or CBN cutting edges.

·      Diameter Range of 0.6929 inch to 7.8975 inch (17.60 mm to 200.60 mm).

·      The Ring Reamer Modular assembly gives the user TIR control and to have radial adjustment during the set-up process and spindle verification.

·      Also available with straight shank.

·      The ALVAN^® reamer has multi cutting edges which are set asymmetrically to guarantee almost perfect hole geometry.

ALVAN^® reamer is expandable to maintain size tolerance and is particularly useful when regrinding the cutting edges.
