The Challenge

A small job shop manufactures small bushings made from 625 Inconel round bar stock for the aerospace industry. They use an Okuma Cadet LNC- 8C with low pressure coolant to manufacture their products.

The customer was concerned about cycle time and tool life, and they also experienced difficulty during the drilling process.
