The Challenge

A customer manufactures die sets and components for the tool and die industry using a Haas VF-4 with 300 PSI (21 bar) coolant. The part they are machining is a wearplate made from bronze.

To improve the production process, the customer needed a solution that would increase tool life and decrease cycle time.

The ASC 320 successfully increased tool life and decreased cycle time, all while lowering the overall cost of production.
